THE CEO CHALLENGE - ARE YOU REALLY NOT-FOR-PROFIT?
"When Michael Martin and I cofounded ReForest Now, we wanted to fight for the return of large scale rainforests to Australia - landscape level change brought about by hard working people to make things right for the Earth.
As such, this is not about personal gain and as many people know, 'not for profit' organisations often eat up plenty of money on the senior staff and especially the CEO.
I was first paid by RN on the 17th of September 2018. Up until the 16th of January 2021 I have earned a total of $82,909.26 AUD from ReForest Now
that is 851 days at an average of $681.98 per week.
If you were looking for the people that are passionate and transparent to support with your funds, there's 15 staff here at ReForest Now that need your help to grow and bring about massive repair to Australia."

WHAT WE DO
We make it easy for businesses and organisations to have an impact and work together in reforestation. We deliver reporting to our partners of their impact to show exactly how donations are being spent and working toward our reforestation and conservation goals.

SOME OF OUR PLANTINGS
We are now well into a mega project that will see over 60 hectares of rainforest restored and 40 hectares of trees planted at Federal, NNSW.
Dubbed the Green Diamond - it is a collection of adjacent properties we are gathering for contiguous projects.
All coloured zones (except red) represent rainforest regeneration areas.
All red zones represent areas already planted out with rainforest trees (as of Jan 31st, 2021). This totals around 30, 000 rainforest trees planted.
The entire left flank of this project is run by the Wilson's River, a central point for rainforest resilience in NNSW.
The site is perfectly parallel with the Byron Bay lighthouse at a distance of 12 kilometres inland.
28, 345 rainforest trees planted at the highest point in Byron. It also includes 130 Richmond Birdwing Butterfly vines to attract known populations on St Helena Rd. There are tons of species in this planting, many for insect, bird, moth and insect support.
This project will work in adjacency to several other large scale reforestation projects that have already been completed in the area.
DONATE TO HELP US GROW
Donating directly to us helps us as an organisation grow. When donations are made that are not for trees we use these funds to purchase essential equipment and machinery and expand our nursery.
