Internships
Our internships are ideal for individuals passionate about direct climate action and environmental restoration. They offer a valuable opportunity to expand your knowledge in reforestation and gain a deeper understanding of plant ecology. No prior experience is necessary, but a strong passion for environmental restoration and a willingness to learn are highly sought after.

This project will be very active and hands-on. Students can expect to be outside most days of the week planting trees, maintaining planting sites and learning bush regeneration techniques, then working in the nursery on the other days. Recreating rainforests takes time and a lot of physical work, so students will gain an understanding of the entire process of reforestation from start to finish, from seed collection and propagation to planting and finally the maintenance and nurturing of young trees until they reach maturity.
Project 1: Field-based direct action
Project 2: Community-focused action
This project will initially expose the student to all areas of the organisation - from seed collection, nursery, tree planting, planting maintenance and bush regeneration - to give them an understanding of the organisation as a whole, then they will spend time in the office and in the community where they will be focused on fundraising and community outreach. Students will be liaising with community members, landholders, other community and environmental organisations. The student will then create and coordinate (with assistance from the Volunteer Coordinator) a small community event that aims to raise funds for our work and connect people with our organisation.
